On Friday, a Nikkei report claimed the current Representative Corporate Executive Officer and Executive Deput President at Sony Corporation, Kazi Hirai, would be promoted to President of Sony Corporation in April. Today, Sony has denied those claims.
“Certain media reports were published on January 7th, 2012 regarding Sony Corporation’s executive officers’ appointments,” said the company in a statement. “Sony Corporation has made no announcement in this regard and nothing has been determined at this time.”
