The successor to the Microsoft Xbox 360, now being called the Xbox 720, will launch in 2013, a report reveals.
According to CNET, “a source on the Xbox team confirmed” earlier reports that the Xbox 720 will indeed be launched by the software giant on 2013.
Furthermore, it is also reported that Don Coyner, the Microsoft veteran who has been chief of the Xbox design and experience group will no longer be the head of the said group.
Coyner has been working on the Xbox for over a decade now. Coyner is reportedly being replaced in that position by Emma Williams, the Microsoft leader who led the rollout of the new Xbox 360 dashboard.

Meanwhile, the 2013 launching of the Xbox 720 is seemingly being confirmed by two incidents.
One is the report from CNET which said that a member of the Xbox team has confirmed the 2013 schedule for the Xbox 720 release.
Another is a leaked roadmap (if it is accurate) from MS_nerd which said that the Xbox “Loop” (read:Xbox 720) will launch during the BUILD conference in 2013.
