homebrew, games, themes , plugins and much more . This cool homebrew application is also
compatible with game categories plugin.
Dev. Statement
1) File browser now lists files in alphabetical order
2) You can copy and/or delete whole directories
3) Both zip and rar files can be extracted
4) Improved the plugin installer, and also created a new way to install plugins (clicking X on a
prx file gives you the option of adding it to your vsh.txt, game.txt, and/or pops.txt)
5) Created a new mode for the file browser that allows you to select an almost unlimited amount
of files, and then copy or delete them. In a test, I actually selected 230 individual files (which came
from 20 different directories), and then copied them all to a new directory.
6) Created a color config file that allows you to change the text colors of the program. (Useful when
making a custom skin)
7) MANY bug fixes and other improvements
All Install is a program that can download and install many different things for the PSP. You can install
homebrew, plugins, themes, gameboots, etc. There are many other features, as well. Some include: a
file browser, calculator, UMD dumper, and even the ability to hide your files. All Install can also be customized.
You can create your own download site, the program can go to your site automatically, and you can even
make the program look the way you want it to.

2) —-Features—-
—————————
This section explains how to use the features of All Install. The examples start from the first screen of the
program, the one that says Download on it.
1 – Download something: Just press X. This will launch the web browser, and take you to a download page.
Download items into your PSP/COMMON folder.
2 – Install homebrew, plugins, skins, etc: Press Right on the D-Pad once (it should now say Extract), then press X.
Highlight the ZIP/RAR file you want to install, and press X. Your item will be installed, and the ZIP/RAR file will be deleted.
3 – Install homebrew into a specific folder (such as a game categories folder): Press Right on the D-Pad once
(it should now say Extract), then press X. Highlight the ZIP/RAR file, and press Circle. Browse to the folder where
you want to install it, and press Analog Down. The item will be installed, and the ZIP/RAR file won’t be deleted. To
install multiple homebrews, just press Circle on more than 1 item before pressing Analog Down. You can install up
to 5 items at a time.
4 – Unzip/unrar a file: Same instructions as #3 above.
5 – Switch save profiles: Press the L Trigger to switch to a second SAVEDATA folder. Press the L Trigger again to
switch back to your original folder. You can switch back and forth as many times as you need to. This is helpful for
some games that only allow 1 save. Also, for games like LittleBigPlanet, you can double the amount of levels that
you can download and create.
6 – Copy files/folders: Press Right on the D-Pad once (it should now say Extract), then press X. Highlight your item,
and press Circle. Browse to the folder where you want to copy it, and press Analog Left. To copy multiple items, just
press Circle on more than 1 item before pressing Analog Left. You can copy up to 5 items at a time. (Note: You can
also press L-Trigger to enter Select Files mode. In this mode you can select an almost unlimited amount of files, and
then copy or delete them).
7 – Delete files/folders: Press Right on the D-Pad once (it should now say Extract), then press X. Highlight your item,
and press Square. To delete multiple items, press Circle to select up to 5, then press Square to delete them all.
(Note: You can also press L-Trigger to enter Select Files mode. In this mode you can select an almost unlimited amount
of files, and then copy or delete them).
8 – Create a new folder: Press Right on the D-Pad once (it should now say Extract), then press X. Browse to where you
want the folder, and press Analog Up. Type a name for your folder, then press Start.
9 – Dump a UMD to your memory stick: Press Select. When the Help menu appears, press Left on the D-Pad once. Make
sure you have enough free space for the ISO. If you do, press X. Type a name for your ISO, then press Start.
10 – Hide all of your content: Press Select. When the Help menu appears, press Right on the D-Pad once, then press X.
Choose the password that you’ll use to un-hide your content, then press Start. The program will hide your content, then
it will automatically exit. (It hides content by simply renaming your folders. Pictures, games, videos, web browser content,
etc will all be hidden. Also, it names the folders starting with a period. That causes those folders to be inaccessible or
hidden on a lot of computer systems). So, if the average person looks through your PSP menu, it will be empty. Or, a
younger sibling can play games on your PSP without disturbing your content. When you hide your content, a new ISO folder,
and a new PSP/GAME folder will be created. You can copy games there for your sibling to play. If you want your custom
theme to remain active when your content is hidden, you can copy your theme into PSP/THEME. HEN users should also copy
their HEN launcher into PSP/GAME. That way, you’ll still be able to launch the HEN even when your content is hidden.
(Note: you can also copy these files before you hide your content. Just create folders called 2ndISO and 2ndPSP on the root
of your memory stick, and copy your files there. When you hide your content, those folders will become your normal ISO and
PSP folders). When you un-hide your content, your folders will be named back to normal, and your siblings folders will be
renamed. So, your games and savedata will be kept separate from each other, and you can switch between them whenever
you want.
11 – Un-hide all of your content: When all of your content is hidden, you will find a calculator app on your PSP. Launch the
calculator. Press Triangle to view the credits, and then press L-Trigger. Enter your password, press Start, and all of your
content will be returned to normal. If for some reason the calculator app won’t launch, I’ve also provided an emergency
un-hider. Go into the InstallRoot folder, and you’ll find a folder called ER. Copy the ER folder into PSP/GAME, and run the app
to un-hide your content. The app is signed, so it will work even on official firmware. Note: If when your content is hidden,
you create a folder that matches a hidden folder (example: you create a PICTURE folder when your original PICTURE folder
is hidden), your original folder won’t be able to rename back to normal. But, you can just use the All Install file browser to
rename those folders to your liking.
12 – Install a gameboot to flash: (Note: The gameboot needs to be in your seplugins/RCO folder first). Press Select. When
the Help menu appears, press Right on the D-Pad once. Now, press Square, and choose to install new gameboot. It will install
the gameboot that’s in your seplugins/RCO folder. If you have an opening_plugin.rco in that folder, it will also be installed.
(Note: When installing a new gameboot to flash, the program automatically makes a backup of your current gameboot.pmf and
opening_plugin.rco. They will be saved in the InstallRoot/ro folder. If you want to re-install them, choose the option that says
install previous gameboot).
13 – Install CXMB: Press Select. When the Help menu appears, press Right on the D-Pad once. Now, press Triangle.
14 – Manually install a plugin: Press Right on the D-Pad once (it should now say Extract), then press X. Highlight the prx file
you want to install, and press X.
15 – Install the version.txt: Press Select. When the Help menu appears, press Right on the D-Pad once. Now, press Circle.
It will give you the option of installing the version.txt to your seplugins folder, or to your flash. (Note: The version.txt it
installs is located at InstallRoot/vs/vr.txt. You can edit it, or update it if you need to).
16 – Install the Recovery Menu Fix (aka 5.00 M33-7): This is only needed on PSP’s that have 5.00 M33-6 firmware, and it
fixes a small bug (the bug is when you enable the version.txt, the speed-up memory stick option also changes. This bug only
occurred on my Slim PSP. So, Phat users may not need this). When you use All Install to install the version.txt (#15 above),
choose the 5.00 M33-6 option. The version.txt and the Recovery Menu Fix will both be installed.
17 – Create game150.txt: Press Square. This is only for users who want to use plugins with older homebrew in the game150
folder. When you install plugins with All Install, it will create the vsh.txt, game.txt, and pops.txt, but not the game150.txt.
(This is because most users don’t use the game150 folder anymore). After installing your plugins, just press Square to create
the game150.txt (it will be an exact copy of your game.txt).
18 – View a text file: Press Right on the D-Pad once (it should now say Extract), then press X. Highlight your text file, and
press X. In the pspWrite menu, choose “Recent” to see the file you clicked on. (Note: pspWrite will use a default settings
configuration. If you want to change the default settings permanently, you can create your own default config file. Using
the All Install file browser, go into the InstallRoot/wr folder, and delete the pspwrite.cfg. Then, press X on the EBOOT.PBP
in that folder. When pspWrite launches, DON’T open a text file. Just go to settings, change them to your liking, and save
them. Then, exit pspWrite. When the All Install menu appears, go to the file browser again. Go into the InstallRoot/wr folder,
and select the pspwrite.cfg file by pressing Circle on it. Go into the InstallRoot/vs folder, and press Analog Left to copy the
file there. Then, delete the default.cfg. Highlight the pspwrite.cfg, press Analog Right to rename it, and rename it to default.cfg).
—————————
3) Create your own content
—————————
You can create your own content, and you can even create your own download site. To change the default website that
All Install goes to, go into the InstallRoot folder, and open website.txt with a text editor. Change the website in quotes to
the website that you want.
To create items that can be installed with the program, they must be a zip or rar file, and they must contain the proper folder
structure:
1 – Homebrew should be in: PSP/GAME/HomebrewName/
2 – Homebrew for Game Categories should only contain the homebrew’s folder itself. (It will be extracted to a specified folder,
so it doesn’t need the PSP/GAME/ folders)
3 – Skins for All Install should be in: InstallRoot/ (Skins consist of 7 png images, and a color.txt. You can look in the
InstallRoot folder for the 7 png’s, and then you can create your own. You can also change the text color in All Install
so that it matches your skin. Go into the InstallRoot folder, open color.txt with a text editor, and change the RGB
values to whatever you want)
4 – PSP Themes should be in: PSP/THEME/
5 – ISO’s or CSO’s should be in: ISO/
6 – Gameboots should be in: newplugins/RCO/ (you can include both the gameboot.pmf and opening_plugin.rco, or just
the gameboot.pmf)
7 – Plugins should be in newplugins/ (the vsh.txt, game.txt, or pops.txt need to go into InstallRoot/)
Note: The plugin text files must be written in a certain way. For example: If you were zipping a vsh plugin named
example.prx, you would write this into the vsh.txt:
ms0:/seplugins/example.prx 1
