General Forum Rules


1.1 The staff reserve the right to lock or delete any posts that may break the rules, if they feel like it isn't a very big deal they might give you a friendly warning at first.

1.2 Your signatures are limited to 3 pictures (1 picture, 2 userbars) if you feel you must have more pictures use a spoiler to put it in.

1.3 All messages are limited to English. This includes posts, titles, signatures, profiles, and any other forms of public displayed message.

1.4 Do not create a thread that is already in discussion. If done post will be locked and/or deleted, please use the "search" option before posting a new thread.

1.5 Do not abuse the like system it is there for liking what a user posted. If any users abuse this please report them to a staff member.

1.6 Don't Impersonate staff members if done it will be dealt accordingly and immediately. This includes telling users you are staff and/or having staff badges in your avatar.

1.7 If you request something it can't be anything that is illegal ex. cracks, keygens, iso's etc. Doing so will result in removal or locking of your thread.

1.8 Do not mini mod we encourage our users to report all bad behavior to staff members, without adding thier own criticism. Examples of this include - "Lock this thread!", "Warn this user", "not allowed", and similar phrases that fall into this category.

1.9 Thread starters may request deletion of a members post if they feel it shouldn't be there.

Spam and advertising

2.1 We do not tolerate spam. In short, do not post small or useless posts that are not relevant to the topic being discussed. We have been doing that lately and it needs to stop now.

2.2 Do not message a moderator, or admin multiple times to solve an answer/problem. We recieve the pm's you get. There is no need to keep sending it.

2.3 Your signatures are to be used respectfully, so don't use it as a personal billboard by posting a lot of links in it.

2.4 Don't advertise any other forum related website that competes with this one we don't care about stuff like youtube, google, etc. Any website/forum that doesn't compete with us can be posted. Also don't ever say stuff like - "Please join my forum", "You will get to be a moderator", etc. That is another way of trying to compete with us and it wont be tolerated.

2.5 Posts in a particular forum need to stay on topic.

Offensive Posts

3.1 Never under any circumstances post personal information of another user, pictures, or any other material without person's consent. This includes: Users IP address, Pictures from facebook, location, etc.

3.2 After 2 Warnings - All warnings will be "tracked". This is to keep troublemakers from not getting the 'penalty' for their actions.

3.3 All warnings/bans given by the PsvMods website's Staff are final. PsvMods website's staff members reserve the right to ignore any requests to modify a warning/ban.

3.4 If you are a long standing member, act like one; lead by example and assist other newer users rather than attacking them. We look upon our veteran users to use this opportunity to teach the newer users the appropriate way to conduct themselves in this community.

3.5 Personal attacks such as instigating "flame bait", verbal abuse, mocking or sexist remarks of members in posts are not tolerated at psvmods. Such posts will be deleted on sight or moderated accordingly.

How to post

4.1 Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do or don't want to read.

4.2 Keep the focus. Each board has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain board will either be moved to the appropriate board, locked, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate board. Users that post in the wrong board will be warned. Continuing these actions will result in a ban.

4.3 DO NOT bump your topics. Doing so causes unnecessary clutter to the forum. Unles separated by 24 hours time and/or it's an information topic that would look best with the double post.

4.4 If you post a one-lined message such as "lol", "+1", etc... it is classified as SPAM and will be removed. Multiple offenses can result in your posts being deleted or a complete loss of posting rights.

4.5 Gravedigging is not alloud, that is when you revive a topic that is more than 1 months+ old. Doing so will result in locking of the thread. Tutorial topics will not comply with this rule, if you have any questions about other topics send a private message to the original poster (OP).

4.6 No Warez or any type of copyright material is to be requested or posted. If a user requests this the thread will be simply locked and the user will be reminded of the rules, if it is posted the thread will be permanently deleted with no warning except via private message.

5.1 If any staff member abuses their powers please report them to one of the administrators.

Reporting Abuse

6.1 If you have a complaint about another member, problems with other members, etc., please try to resolve the problem in a personal message. If necessary, address an admin or moderator by reporting their post.

6.2 If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules please use the "report abuse" button at the foot of the forum or by private messaging an administrator, or moderator.
