Some juicy details about the upcoming PS Vita have come up recently. They come from an interview that Famitsu magazine had with Sony regarding the PS Vita's web browser. According to what they said, it will support cookies, JavaScript 1.7, and HTML5, but unfortunately not flash. It is likely that Sony does not wish to pay royalties to Adobe, as all devices which support flash need to.

The news is not all bad, however. Famitsu implied that flash support will likely come in the future, much like it did for the PSP, through a firmware update. Also, the lack of flash support is not all that bad. HTML5 is very popular, and many big websites utilize it. The lack of flash will most likely only prohibit Vita users from watching non-Youtube videos on their console.
Another interesting thing to note about the PS Vita and its web browsing abilities is that due to its insanely fast quad core CPU it should be able to load pages about 2.5 times faster than the upcoming iPhone 4S.
