There was hope that Resistance: Burning Skies would make it in time for PlayStation Vita handheld’s launch in U.S – February 22nd, 2012. That is, until the official Resistance: Burning Skies website announced the released window will be sometime in summer 2012.
Resistance: Burning Skies begins with the attack on North America’s east coast in 1951. You get to play as New Jersey fire fighter and National Guardsman Tom Riley, tasked with helping to save the city from the brutal Chimeran invasion force.
A new mission complements the existing Resistance storyline, and also the first ever touch-screen shooting game for the PlayStation Vita.
