Same applies to gaming on PC's.
Instead of playing an 8 year old game at 800x600 on the lowest quality with 25FPS you could be playing that game maxed at 1920x1080 with 150FPS with a few programs open in the back ground and maybe even a couple other games.
That's why.
Getting a better PC gets things done faster and will make it all look way cooler.
