Player coordinates are where your loaded in a map or located. so lets start

For a 3D game


1. start a unknown 32bit search

2. move a bit search 1=different

3. stay still search 0=same

4. go somewhere high like on a hill or anywhere higher where you were before search 2=greater

5. go somewhere lower search 3=less

6. keep doing this in tell you get a few results

5. now go anywhere you want and hit "save cheats to cheat list"

7. now go somewhere a little far away from where you saved your cheats to the list.

8. keep testing each code, if a code you turned on teleports you to where you saved your cheats at. that is your co-oords

9. then unDMA it most games will have DMA co oords then once you unDMA it there will be the offsets with it heres an example:


_C0 Player coordinates
_M 0x68A52C34 0x00000000
_M 0xB8A52C34 0x00000000
_M 0x00000094 0x00000000
_M 0x00000098 0x00000000
_M 0x0000009C 0x00000000
_M 0xD2000000 0x00000000

NOTICE: there will only show one co oord offset like this

_M 0xB8A52C34 0x00000000
_M 0x00000094 0x00000000
_M 0xD2000000 0x00000000

to get the second and third co oord offset just add 4 to the first one.

The one in blue is your player co oords

The one in red is your co oord offset (X.Y.Z) always the offset that is first is your X your second is your Y and your third is your Z.

For a 2D game

its pretty much the same thing just skip the go high and low part (obviously cause its a 2D game ) but just in case:

For Y coord we go up (greater) then go down (less) and for X coord we go ahead (greater) then go back (less)?

not really because,

"people do not say that same or different searches are the only
way to find coordinates. Most people search for the Z coordinate as it
is the easiest as you know when it's greater or less than. I find it
very poor advice to tell people to walk in a direction (X,Y) and search
greater than then do it all over again if it doesn't work because they
went the wrong way. You should be telling people to go higher and search
greater than, lower and search less than, then find the Z coordinate,
