Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has leaked online via torrent sites across the globe a week before the game’s official release date, with several fans confirming that the leaked version is not a fake.
Various Black Ops 2 gameplay videos have been appearing online over the last week with rumors circulating of broken street dates across Europe. Now the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game have appeared online to download and several users who have tried them out claim that they are real.
Treyarch game design director David Vonderhaar had a little something to say to users who are planning on playing the game early, “I’m really glad people are excited for the game,” he said on Twitter. “Legit streams coming up later this week and early next. Watch this space.”
“If you are going to live-stream the game early, which I don’t remotely recommend, you could at least be good at it. ”
So it appears, for the moment at least, that nobody is going to get banned for playing the game early.
