Assassin's Creed 3 has surpassed Ubisoft's all-time launch sales records and become the second-fastest selling game of 2012. Sales monitor GFK Chart-Track said the week one sales performance of Assassin's Creed 3 was nearly double that of AC2 and out performed last year's Assassin's Creed: Revelations by over 117,000 units. Medal of Honor Warfighter falls from first to sixth with Electronic Arts' FIFA 13 holding second spot. As the year's end approaches, new titles are beginning to emerge ahead of the lucrative holiday spending season. In third place is WWE '13 while the Criterion racer Need for Speed Most Wanted (2012) takes fifth. Forza Horizon sales fell about 50 per cent and drops to seventh. The PlayStation Vita edition of Assassin's Creed 3, called Liberation, debuts at number 14. The Ubisoft title is the third biggest debut for the PS Vita behind Uncharted: Golden Abyss and FIFA Football.
