Battlefield 3's next expansion, Aftermath, will add crossbows with different ammo types to the game. The crossbows will have different bolt types for different situations. Explosive bolts will be able to put holes in walls, standard bolts can kill at short to medium range, scan bolts highlight enemies within a 10 metre area and balanced bolts can kill at long range. On the addition, DICE said, The four different bolts and the crossbow become a jack of all trades solution suitable for any class Premium users can log into Battlelog to see a two minute video of the crossbow in use with all ammo types. The Aftermath expansion will be available to Premium users on December 4 and released to everyone else on December 18.
