Well, it’s really more like a special deal than a price cut, but the world of Twitter and Facebook apparently see it differently.

According to Microsoft Studios, a new deal has been made with Amazon to offer Modern Warfare 3 for significantly less than usual: $42.53. This price is only for the Xbox 360 version, however.

Unfortunately, the deal is fleeting, and is reported to end on the 13th of the month. So, if you have broken your disc out of frustration, been too busy playing Battlefield, or completely missed the MW3 boat, you may want to pick it up while it is on sale.

Oddly, there was no announced reason behind the price cut/deal on Amazon, but many in the industry are speculating that it is due to many people having already purchased the game (sounds obvious to me, but what do I know?).
