Over the past few weeks we’ve been catching wind of a new IP belonging to Visceral Games. Well it looks as if the rumours are beginning to raise the anchors, hoist the masts and set sail with the latest news on offer.

According to EA’s job website they are “Looking for a lead multiplayer designer to help create a thrilling online action shooter game.” So it looks as if this new IP is going to be a FPS, perhaps EA’s newest prospective attempt at knocking the Call of Duty franchise from it’s monopolistic top-spot. If you’ve got 5 years game design experience as well as a boatload of other credentials you may be able to jump on-board and help set new horizons for the ever expiring FPS genre.

The advertisement then goes onto say “This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a bold new franchise which is a cornerstone for a new EA Games Studio”, which in my opinion eliminates surfacing rumours of Visceral throwing Dead Space onto the FPS bandwagon. Instead, I feel we can hope for a fresh new game, perhaps with Dead Space influence.
