A new revision of Open CMA has been released by Virtuous Flame, and it now works with the newest Vita firmwares.
In case you didn't know, Open CMA is a content manager assistant to copy files to the PS Vita. Open CMA is the same as the official Sony version but modified, so that you can copy files without any internet connection unlike the official Sony CMA which requires a constant internet connection to the Sony Servers.
In General it:
- Allows offline transfers on either PC or Vita.
- Allows lower firmwares to transfer. (Open CMA 5 works on 2.00+ Only)
- Disallows the sending of information to Sony.
- No contact to Sony’s servers.
- Open CMA prevents CMA from auto updates or mandatory updates.
- It also allows you to transfer anything black listed, it doesn’t check their servers to confirm if its on the PSN.
- Lets you copy Homebrew, ISO/CSO to use with an exploit with less errors.
Well, since Sony released the newest 2.00+ Firmwares for the Vita, it stopped working. Thankfully, Virtuous Flame is back with a new version, meaning that r5 now (and only) works on Vita 2.00 and higher.
