Take-Two says it has sold over five million copies of Borderlands 2. The figure combines units sold in to retailers and "strong digital sales" on Steam and PSN. The game released in mid-September and sold an estimated 1.82 million copies in its first two weeks of availability in the US. Take-Two said it has become "one of the most successful releases in [subsidiary] 2K's history". Developer Gearbox has announced plans to release four Borderlands 2 DLC campaign add-ons. A Borderlands 2 Season Pass enabling players to pre-purchase all of the DLC at a discount is available now. Wave-based survival game Borderlands Legends launches today for iOS devices.
