PS Vita developer The Z has made an interesting Tweet. You must remember the not so long ago leaked files containing a kernel exploit and CFW belonging to Coldbird. What you could have learnt in that bit of news is the inclusion of a PSX emulator. Although buggy it was able to run games at full speed, but what held the developer from releasing it any time soon was a major drawback, and one that still exists today. No sound! The Z, using the released modules by developer Frostegater, continues to inform us that these modules should run on any TN-C release.
Instructions via the readme.txt:
Just put the 2 PRX files into your exploit savegame folder and PSX (PS1) games should be working from the TNMenu.
Other menus aren't tested yet.
This should be working with every TN-C release for the PS Vita. The PS Vitas OFW shouldn't be important, it should be working for 1.6x, 1.80, 1.81 and 2.0x firmwares (available soon).
- Greetings The Z
