If your like me and don't like the multitasking feature.
Well introducing: Backgrounder - a multitasking killing machine.
With this app you have a choice to keep your apps open(even the ones that won't stay open in multitasking), or Disable Multitasking.
You also have a choice on which apps you want to stay open or killed by going to the "Override" tab at the menu.
If you Disable your multitasking, it really frees up RAM
Many repos have this so just search "Backgrounder" to get this wonderful app
If you can't find it add: the Insanlyi repo

yea but it can get in the way if your RAm i only at 80-100

yea it's one with no service basically my super ipod

I had this on my iPod touch 2g.
Didn't like it much.
I can only run 4.2.1 on there so I got the tweak called Features which allows regular iOS multitasking on it.
The most I ever have on my iPod is like 70,
But with no programs running and Ram cleared multiple times.
