As a rule of thumb, it’s imperative for gamers to download the latest patch in order for a particular game to be “bug-free” and follows a smooth sailing ride all the time. However, we all know this only happens in a perfect world and in reality, there’s some instances when downloading the latest patch can bring more harm than good, take for example some Skyrim players who downloaded the last two patch for the game (1.3 & 1.3.10).

So just in case you want to delete the updates you’ve installed (for some reasons), doing this is relatively easy.

    Watch this video:

    Spoiler:

Basically, the clip demonstrates how to delete Skyrim patches on Xbox 360.

After you’re logged in with your XBL account, go to dashboard and search “settings”, then select “storage”, “hard drive” all the way to the option that says “clear system cache”. And voila! All the updates for your hard drive are now reset. Now, all you need to do is load Skyrim and once you’re asked to download the update, simply select “No” to proceed.

Naturally, we recommend everyone to only do this as their fail-safe option when their characters or system has been terribly dented by the new patch. As for now, we’re still waiting for Beth’s word about the upcoming patch 1.4.
