    [RELEASE] PSP Version Builder Pspgen-version-builder_0090005200351738

    This is good news for all of those users who are having a hard time updating their PSP Firmware due to PSP Gen CFW not able to update to firmware higher then 5.50 cause error code stating that Firmware currently installed is 9.90. PSP Version Builder help fix that issue by doing a pretty simple fix on your PSP version.txt file to give users of PSP CFW 5.50 GEN a chance to install a newer CFW such as PSP CFW PRO or PSP CFW ME depending on which one you prefer. If you are having a hard time updating your PSP Firmware cause you are getting a 9.90 Firmware
    installed no updated needed etc , Then this PSP Homebrew PSP Version Builder is the perfect application for the task.

    Developer Statement

    We present a new utility, called Builder psp version, bypassing this protection. Operation is very
    simple: it will edit the file version.txt in there changing the number of the firmware. This will make
    it possible to believe in your console you are 0.00, 9.90, 6.96 or 7.77. Thus, you have several options
    available to you:

    Minimize the number in order to install the custom firmware of your choice (but not impossible attempt facilities);

    Maximize this figure to avoid accidental update.

    How to install PSP Version Builder into your PSP.

    Connect your PSP to the computer via USB;
    Pass your PSP in “USB mode” with the option “USB Connection”;
    Right-click on the file you downloaded;
    Choose “Extract files …”( WinRAR is recommended);
    Choose like destination the letter assigned to your PSP from your computer;
    Press OK and wait extraction files;
    Leave the “USB mode” on your PSP;
    Go to the menu Thursday> Memory Stick to launch psp Version Builder.

    The only thing Gen could do that m33 couldn't was make pandora from recovery menu and add support games that required 6.00 ofw, but that's why most people just used iso tool or the Prometheus patch when it was released. Also bout 90% of the Gen code is m33.

    That's why they couldn't add the 1.50 kernel addon on 5.50 or be able to use leda. Let's not forget they couldn't make a 6.XX gen cfw even though they talk bout it alot-_-

    Plus it's simple to update all they did was add the 9.99 version.txt. all you have to do is just access you flash0 by either going to your recovery menu or going to the vsh menu and change the usb device from memory stick to flash0 connect it to a computer and go here F:\vsh\etc and you'll see the version.txt open it up and change 9.99 to 5.50 save and you'll be able to update^^
