So yea I have been getting a few BSODs here and there in my PC lately.
I didn't think much of it until it happened today.
So here's what happened I was just playing GTAIV when all of a sudden my PC freezes up.
then it goes to a blue screen saying,
"A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval"
I reset the Pc then go online and search why this is happening.
People say it is either my CPU, GPU, or PSU not giving enough power.
I know its not my PSU because I had done tons of different estimates for the max power I will be consuming and they all estimate my power to be like 310W under super max load.
So with that one out the question, all that was left is my CPU or GPU.
Since they said to test the CPU with Prime95 and I already had Prime95 sitting around I tested the CPU.
I started the test they said to and within 30 seconds I got another one of the same blue screen.
Now that means I have a faulty CPU?
I don't know what to do with this information. Laughing
So if you think you can help please do. Smile

    Most likely your GPU.

Try taking your gpu out then putting it back in.

Hmm, Should I take it out and run the test again?
If it fails that again it is definitely the cpu.

Ok I took the GPU out and ran the test.
    Black screen.
It black screened for me when my OC was unstable but this one is pretty damn stable.
    This is weird. scratch
    Any other suggestions?

Do you have another CPU you could maybe use to test in it?

No this is my only desktop and my only AMD socket computer in general.
If the CPU is bad it's ok, what kind of damage can it do to everything else? Razz

Can't return it, I traded some stuff to a friend for it.
I will just buy a quad core in the very near future then.

Yea, I am about to sell it though. Laughing

It has only done a blue screen while playing GTA IV.
Plus I just put it back to the stock clock speed.
Might test it like this real quick.

One blue screen leads to many other problems if you never get it fixed. Surprised

    I know that. Razz
I am doing the test as I type this.
It might have just been my overclock.
    Weird. Suspect
Still going to get a new CPU.
